DAGUPAN CITY- Agri Partylist Representative Wilbert Lee continues to fight and focus on assisting the affected population as the cost of products are fluctuating.
He said, he always visits markets in every town to monitor the prices of the products.
He discovered that the prices of meat and vegetable products fluctuate due to a lack of post-harvest facilities.
It caused improper storage of products, then, forcing businesses to sell them rather than leave them to deteriorate.
Lee believes that farmers requires assistance in bringing their products to the kadiwa Stores.
In particular, Kadiwa Centers must be institutionalized and made permanent and retailers should not become reliant on the current administration.
It becomes Rep. Lee’s motivation to file a housebill no.3957, also known as the Kadiwa Institutionalization Act, to secure its fund and keep it running.
He also stated that he made programs to help the public by learning about the people’ difficulties, such as “Kadiwa Agri Food-Terminal Act.”
