His sentence came after a previous conviction two years ago for training over 100 pit bulls for these brutal fights.
Burrell faced 93 felony charges related to dog fighting and 10 misdemeanor charges for animal cruelty in Paulding County, Georgia.
Each dog fight charge added five years to his sentence, while each animal cruelty charge added one year, leading to an astonishing total of 475 years in prison.
This is the longest sentence ever handed down to anyone convicted of dog fighting.
If only the dog fighting charges had been counted, his sentence would still be a staggering 465 years.
